Once you have applied this vinegar mixture on the boots, let it dry for 5 - 6 minutes. In another bowl, pour some water; take a fresh sponge and rub your boots once again to remove the cleaner. You can also use a tooth brush with soft bristles to get rid of any tough stains on your boots. Put some old newspapers inside the boots and let them dry for a whole day.
